Sky Lantern or Kong Ming lantern

Community Policing Taman Bukit Indah would like to remind the public that releasing Sky Lantern or Kong Ming Lantern is an offence and was banned!
The lanterns could climb as high as 1,800m and could easily be sucked into aircraft's engine and may cause the plane to catch fire or even explode in mid-air.
The ministry and police would not hesitate to use the Civil Aviation Act 1969,section 285 of the Penal Code and Section 5 of the Explosives Act 1957 to capture those who broke the Law!
The penalty is heavy fines and imprisonment!

Program "stop at the gate"

On 10/02/2011 Community Policing Taman Bukit Indah was involved in the "Stop at the Gate" program with the Polis in school, the first school involved is SMJK Taman Kangkar Pulai.
The students were advised to concenterate on thier studies, with a good education only can they get a good future.
On playing traunt in school, students were advised against it because by doing so they are learning nothing and wasting their parents money and hopes. We told them that they parents placed much hopes on them and they must not disappoint their parents or otherwise it would be very unfair to their parents who work so hard for them. They were also advised against smoking, cybercafing and gangterism which may ruined their futures.
